This Honda/Acura Ignition Roll-Pin Removal Kit is designed to remove the roll pin without any damage to the ignition housing or the roll pin. After reinserting the ignition, simply reinsert the roll pin.

Due to the increasing frequency of these ignitions failing, this kit was put together to allow the locksmith to remove the ignition roll pin on most Honda and Acura models without drilling or any damage. This kit is unique in that it grabs the outside of the roll pin, compressing its diameter, allowing the roll pin to easily be removed and reused.

Works on later models too.

This tool worked on a 2015 Accord ignition as well despite not being listed as compatible. It can remove the ignition lock in the car, but be careful as there is an anti theft pin built into the steering wheel lock that if the shaft the ignition lock turns moves outward slightly, which is likely, it will force you to remove the ignition to reset it to reinstall the ignition lock. I recommend removing the ignition switch and putting a pair of locking pliers on the shaft prior to the removal of the ignition lock to prevent the aforementioned issue.

GREAT tool. I have others, this one works 100%

I have had this tool since Just Cars 2022, and it has worked on EVERY Honda ignition without fail.

An added use is to remove the roll pins in scooters, motorcycle seat locks etc.... the ones that go halfway into a nylon cap, and you cannot drill the other side to drive through.... now those are a piece of cake to take apart and decode.
